Selected Works in Digital & Traditional Media
I made this tiny clay elephant during two studio sessions as a birthday gift for my mom, and also made an accompanying mini paper machet and wire elephant to go with it, and as a sort of plan for how I wanted the bigger one. I love the texture and the personality it ended up having, and I'm happy of the unplanned details that emerged after firing. They can also stack, which was an accidental but adorable outcome.

School Project - mix two different animals into one hybrid sculpture.
RavenCat was an experiment using cardboard, wire, and paper-mache to see how layered materials look together. I sculpted, painted, and collaged with inexpensive supplies, and the result felt messy, cool, and oddly intimidating. I even affectionately call it "Catbird" when joking about it looking through souls.

I printed two linoleum prints of this owl as gifts for my parents, and the repetitive carving of the feathers was oddly soothing. I aimed for strong contrasts and bold shapes so the owl's gaze looks intense and direct in each ink color.

I made this charcoal portrait as a birthday gift for my best friend. I tried to practice shading, edges, and subtle highlights. I kept adjusting the values until the face started to feel like her, and the process helped me learn patience and restraint with charcoal.

This acrylic portrait of Austin Butler was a School Project study in dramatic lighting and skin tones under strong contrast, and I focused on brushwork and color mixing to get believable form. I wanted the work to look cinematic while I learned new painting techniques.

I drew this goofy caricature of my mom to make her laugh, exaggerating her features in a funny way. It was a quick study in simplification and expression, and seeing her smile felt worth all the messy lines and edits.

I drew this wolf while focusing on fur texture and the motion of a dramatic howl so the drawing feels alive and energetic. I prioritized mood over exact realism and used layered pencil marks to give the piece a wild, mysterious vibe.

I wanted to experiment with a mixture of an ancient classical subject and modern digital drawing techniques. My goal was to study how a statue would look if it were reimagined in a contemporary art style, blending traditional sculpture aesthetics with digital art's flexibility.

Guache and watercolors study of a flower as a Mother's Day present. This was one of my first pieces with watercolor and/or guache, so it was as much a gift as it was a way for me to broaden the amount of materials I know I can work with in art.
